sheriff’s department report27 June 2007 — The Johnston County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents: Michael James Vann-Torres, 17, of Peach Rock Drive in Princeton was arrested on Friday. Officers were called to the home after Vann-Torres allegedly assaulted his 12-year old sister, his mother, and his 22-year-old pregnant sister. He and his older sister were treated for minor injuries, and Vann-Torres was taken to the Johnston County Jail. He was charged with two counts of communicating threats and two counts of assault and battery. Robert Scott Roll, 24, of Old Cornwallis Road in Princeton was arrested on Sunday for driving while impaired and driving while his license was revoked. He was taken to the Johnston County Jail and placed under a $2,500 secured bond. Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Ormond’s Furniture on Friday. John William Taylor, an employee at the store, reported that a glass door had been damaged, and two television sets, worth a total of $700, had been stolen from the store.
