Stolen debit card used at Food Lion

Two Princeton area residents were charged with speeding on Holt’s Pond Road near New Ballpark Rd. last week.
Wendy Pasley, 40, of Progressive Church Rd., was charged with 49 in a 35 mph zone last Wednesday at 10:51 a.m.
Brent Evans, 16, of Woodard Road, was charged with 54 in a 35 at 11:09 a.m.
In addition, Princeton Food Lion apparently accepted a stolen debit card last week for $2,101.84 worth of charges.
LaShanna Glenn of Raleigh reported the charges to Princeton Police on Friday. The charges were processed last Tuesday.
The theft of the card has been reported to Raleigh Police.

Drug arrest

Princeton Police made another drug arrest Saturday.
Stanley Wells, 43, of Kenly was charged with felony possession of cocaine and possession of up to ½ oz. of marijuana.
Bond was set at $15,500.

Princeton trash and recycling pickup will be Thursday, July 5 this week due to the July 4th holiday.
