johnston co sheriff’s report
25 July 2007 — The Johnston County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents:
Robert Eugene Holloman, 29, of Hickory Crossroads Road reported an assault on Thursday. Deputies responded to a call to Wayne Memorial Hospital, where Mr. Holloman was being treated for injuries. Mr. Holloman reported that his father had assaulted him with a shotgun.
Kenneth Oliver Lewallen, III, 21, of Hickory Crossroads Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny at a residence on Bizzell Grove Church Road on Thursday. He reported that approximately $20 worth of copper wire had been stolen.
Katrina Toler Jones, 48, of Brogden Road reported identity theft on Wednesday. Ms. Jones said that someone had used her Medicaid information to purchase medication, and had also attempted to get money through the bank.
Duncan Preston Harmon, 36, of Christopher Avenue also reported being the victim of financial fraud on Wednesday.
James Budd Bennett, Jr., of Pikeville was arrested in Princeton on Tuesday for possession of marijuana. During a license checkpoint at the intersection of Rains Mill and Hickory Crossroads roads, Mr. Bennett was discovered to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and transported to the Johnston County Jail.
Christopher Lee Foster, 17, of Bizzell Grove Church Road was arrested last Friday on charges of sexual battery. He was accused of exposing himself to a 14-year-old girl. Mr. Foster was taken to the Johnston County Jail and held in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
George Benton Braswell, 60, of Kirk Drive reported an assault and damage to property last Thursday. Mr. Braswell said the suspect went inside his home and hit him twice in the side of the head. He then pushed Mr. Braswell to the floor and threatened to beat him up at a later time. In addition, Mr. Braswell reported $500 worth of damages to his 1986 Buick Century.
