Princeton’s new school on track
1 August 2007 — Two Princeton projects are moving along, though surely not as fast as some would like.
The Smith St. sewer line replacement project is good and messy, and has taken a few unexpected turns, but should be finished before too much longer.
The water line project to the new Princeton Elementary School is still being permitted. According to Town Administrator Marla Ashworth, the project won’t be bid until September and construction could start as early as October.
School administrators had asked for water at the site as soon as August, but understood the delays that would be required before the line could be constructed.
According to Mrs. Ashworth, the school system has made arrangements to have water trucked to the site so as to not delay the construction of the new school.
