Traveling troupe auditions
1 August 2007 — StageStruck is seeking eight to ten Wayne County students in grades 9-12 to form StageStruck’s first Traveling Troupe.
Auditions for grades 9-12 will be held Tuesday, August 7 from 3-5 p.m. at StageStruck Studio, 110 N. James St., Goldsboro. Parents are asked to come for 20 minutes.
Students should prepare and memorize a song in their vocal range from any family-friendly musical theatre show. Bring sheet music for the accompanist to play for your audition. If you are unable to attend the August 7 tryout, please call 734-2176 or 736-4530.
The first rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday, August 9 from 2-4 p.m.
Students chosen through the audition process will represent StageStruck by performing in different venues during the months of September through December.
The members of the Traveling Troupe may be asked to obtain excused absences from school. Dianne Finan and Rebecca Fordham will conduct the auditions and all rehearsals during August.
More information: Pat Setzer, 734-2176 OR Tammy Lee, 736-4530
