MILDRED C. DENNING

Mildred Card Denning, 84, of Princeton, died Tuesday evening, August 21, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. 

Born May 19, 1923 in Granville, Co. she was a daughter of the late Joseph James and Annie Young Ellington Card and was the widow of Robert Rudolph Denning who died January 12, 2001.  She was a member of the Princeton Baptist Church and a former member of the Princeton Home Extension Club.

Funeral services were conducted Friday evening, August 24, in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Dwayne Batten and the Rev. Don Price officiating. The burial was Saturday morning in Sunset Memorial Park.

Surviving are her son, Rev. Frank Denning and wife, Susan of Hudson, daughters, LaRue Willoughby and husband Roland (deceased) of Princeton and Jean Collins and husband, Hascal of Collins, MS, 10 grandchildren, Greg Collins, Joey Collins, Maribeth Blackledge, Jeff Willoughby, Jamie Willoughby, Jason Willoughby, Justin Willoughby, Robbie Denning, Lisa Denning and Elizabeth Denning and 15 great grandchildren, Christopher and Zachary Collins, Tristan and Kendra Collins, Cody, Nathan, Ben and Rylee Blackledge, Jessica Willoughby, Haley Greenwood, Jordan Williams, Noah Willoughby, Rebecca Lanier, Makenzie Denning and Peyton Denning and grand nephew, Cameron Braswell.

Memorials may be made to the Princeton Baptist Church Building Fund, 211 Pearl Street, Princeton, NC  27569.

BARBARA EVERETTE

Barbara Jean Everette, 70, of Princeton, died Tuesday, August 28 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.

 

GARY C. FAIRCLOTH

Gary C. Faircloth, 56, of Princeton, died Saturday, August 25 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.

A memorial service was held today (Wednesday, August 29) at noon at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Burial followed at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

Gary was a school teacher, a hairdresser and friend to all. He loved people and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his sister, Susanne Faircloth of Fayetteville; his friend through love, Freddie W. Swafford Jr. of Princeton; several aunts, cousins and numerous good friends.

Memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society or to one's favorite charity.

 

BEULAH HOWELL

Beulah Estella Braswell Howell, 85, of Princeton, died Friday, August 24 at Britthaven of Smithfield.

Born November 8, 1921 in Johnston County, Mrs. Howell was a daughter of the late David M. and Estella Howell Braswell. She was the widow of Needham Nelson Howell, who died November 25, 1996. Mrs. Howell was a member of Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and the Pine Level American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

The funeral was held at Sunday afternoon, August 26, at Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton. The Revs. Dennis Pollock and Dexter Johnson officiated. Burial followed in Princeton Cemetery.

Surviving are her sons, Landis Howell of Smithfield and Eugene Howell of Princeton; two daughters, Marie Talton and Alicia Johnson, both of Princeton; a brother, Jesse King "Spud" Braswell of Princeton; a sister, Blanche Wojohn of Spanish Fort, Ala.; 26 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.

PAMELA A. NEIL

Pamela Ann Neil, 47, of Brogden Road, Smithfield, died Sunday, August 19.

Born September 23, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of Frank Machesky and the late Jackie B. Machesky.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 24 at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home, Kenly. Burial followed in Selma Memorial Gardens.

Surviving in addition to her father are her husband, Vince Neil; two daughters, Jennifer Greene of Knightdale and Faith Mursewick of Smithfield; four sons, Josh Greene of Virginia, Jamie Mursewick of Knightdale and Eric Machesky and Frank Mursewick, both of Smithfield; a sister, Sher Seamon of Texas; and three grandchildren.
