29 August 2007 — Johnston County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the theft of a Honda Civic.

Andres Moreno Barajas of Worley Rd. reported the theft of the gray ’88 Civic on Friday afternoon. He said the $600 value car had been parked on Progressive Church Rd.

A Walther P99 9mm pistol was reportedly taken from the vehicle of Daniel Thomas Boone of Bizzell Grove Church Rd. The $600 pistol was reported stolen on Friday afternoon.

Wayne Gerrell of Caleb Dr., Princeton, called deputies Thursday morning after someone apparently drove his golf cart into a ditch.

Robert House of Baker’s Chapel Rd., Smithfield, called deputies Saturday just after 5 p.m. to report that someone had pulled a knife on him, threatened to stab him, and stole his bicycle, valued at $50.

Phillip Karry Seckar of Baker’s Chapel Rd., Princeton, called deputies Saturday at 5:30 to report his wife had allegedly hit him with a hammer.

Johnston County Sheriff’s deputies were also dispatched to a number of residences on Bizzell-Braswell Rd. and Jump Rd. last Thursday after some apparent attempted and successful larcenies.

Ralph Massengill of Massengill Farms reported someone put a hole in a screen door and pried a door to their Bizzell-Braswell Rd. office open.

Edward Little of Bizzell-Braswell Rd. reported a flashlight and some keys stolen from his vehicle.

Gary Harper of Jump Rd. reported the theft of a $5,000 tool box from his truck.

Melvin Massey of Jump Rd. reported someone apparently went through the glove box of his vehicle.

A wallet was taken from the glove box of Jesse Lomonaco’s vehicle while parked at his home on Jump Rd.

Shirley Williams of Jump Rd. reported hearing something in the middle of the night, and when she got up the next morning, she found the back door open.

Curtis Cox of Bizzell-Braswell Rd. reported on Friday 20 CDs taken from his truck.
