Pigskin results
12 September 2007 — The News Leader Pigskin Pickin’ Contest was too tough for all but one.
Only one picker correctly got all six games right. Larry Potts of Goldsboro was the correct picker.
Six of the seven who picked five of six missed on Rosewood’s win over Roanoke Rapids. One picked a Duke upset to miss a perfect card.
Anne B. Anderson, Bill Carr, John Crafter, Louise Daughtry, Laura Greene, Chris Keen, Melissa Rinehart, Dean Sauls and Phillip Warwick were runner-ups.

Honorable mentions this week go to: Melvin E. Anderson, Tyler Baker, Luby C. Hines, Lewis Craig Partin, Mike Peedin, Rick Rinehart, last week’s winner Denny Tart, Stephen Tart, and David Williams.
This week with Princeton and Rosewood both with open dates, it will be all college games. Winner will receive two tickets to the Central Florida at ECU game Sat. Oct. 6.
Mr. Potts won two tickets to this Saturday’s Southern Miss at ECU game.
