Lady Eagles fall to Ayden-Grifton
19 September 2007 — Rosewood continues to fight hard, but came up just short in two volleyball losses last week.
Last Tuesday the Lady Eagles fought back against Ayden-Grifton after dropping the first two games, winning the next two, only to fall in the finale, 15-10.
Taylor Johnson led Rosewood with ten kills, five aces and nine digs. Ashley Williams added eight kills, four aces and seven digs.
Last Thursday, Rosewood won the first and third games, only to drop the last two, the final coming on a 15-8 count.
Johnson had 11 kills, two aces, eight digs and four blocks to lead the Lady Eagles. Jennifer Hall added five kills, ten assists, three aces and nine digs.
Rosewood’s record is 3-5 in all matches, 0-2 in conference play.
