Parking solution for Bartholomew Dr.
10 October 2007 — Princeton Police Chief Eddie Lewis offered a response to Bartholomew Drive residents whose property is blocked by people attending athletic events at Princeton School.
Chief Eddie Lewis said he would mark off parking spots on the two sides of the street, but would erect signs designating the spaces on the east side of the street for residents and their guests only.
The police could also issue $10 citations for improper parking for those not parking in the designated parking spots.
Police Commissioner Walter Martin questioned whether the ordinance was enforceable. He also questioned whether the ordinance could be passed by the board without advertising it.
The rest of the board voted in favor of the regulations and the ordinance passed.
