Rosewood scores conference win
3 October 2007 — After a strong match against Princeton Tuesday, Rosewood scored their first conference win Thursday in three games against Ayden-Grifton.
In the second game, the Lady Chargers pushed Rosewood before the Lady Eagles claimed a 25-23 victory, but in the first and last games, Rosewood scored relatively easy 25-17 wins.
Jennifer Hall had ten service points in the third game, and had three assists, three aces and five digs in the win. Taylor Johnson had eight kills, 13 aces and three blocks for the Rosewood girls.
The win was the first in conference play against five losses, and pushed Rosewood’s record to 4-9 on the year.
Rosewood was back in league play Tuesday at North Johnston.
