Newell, Peeden engaged
7 November 2007 — Mr. and Mrs. Harold B. Jones of Grantham announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Gail Newell of Princeton, to Roger Peeden Jr. of Princeton. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. Randy Newell of Rosewood and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Best of Grantham. She is a graduate of Rosewood High School and is employed by the Wayne Community College daycare. Her fiancé is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Peeden Sr. of Princeton and the grandson of Carson Carter and the late Faye Carter, and Pauline Dixon. He is a graduate of Princeton High School and is employed by the Department of Transportation and Princeton Fire Department. The wedding is scheduled for 4 p.m. on November 17, at Bakers Chapel Church in Brogden. Family and friends are invited to attend.
