Princeton art on display

The art of Princeton School students will be on display at the Johnston Memorial Hospital Pediatrics Unit through November 30.

Since its inception in 1996, this bi-monthly exhibit has provided local students a venue to display their work publicly, while offering patients, parents, hospital staff, and visitors the opportunity to experience the healing power of art. Each art show spotlights a different Johnston County School and is displayed on a two-month exhibition cycle.

Stuff-A-Stocking program

The Salvation Army is preparing for their Christmas program again this year. Stuff-a-Stockings (24-inch red mesh stockings) are ready for pickup at the Salvation Army building, 610 N. William Street, Goldsboro. Any group or organization may fill them.

Each year, the Salvation Army distributes over 1,500 stockings to needy children. Please return the filled stocking to the Salvation Army no later than December 5.
