CHARLENE M. CHURCH

Charlene M. Church, 39, of Rosewood, died Thursday, November 8 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 11 at Rosewood Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Sylvanis "Buck" Church; a daughter, Megan Marie, of the home; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert and Betsy Snyder of Rosewood, Ernest Snyder of Meadsville, Pa.; two aunts and one uncle, of Rosewood; "her girls," of the RYSA softball team, whom she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James R. and Mary Snyder, of Meadsville, Pa.

RICHARD J. GODFREY

Richard John Godfrey, 77, of Princeton-Kenly Road, Kenly, died Wednesday, November 7 in Winston-Salem. 

Born August 23, 1930 in New York City, he was the son of the late Charles Patrick and Catherine Barrett Godfrey. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he moved to North Carolina and graduated in 1959 from Atlantic Christian College.

A memorial service was held Saturday, November 10 in Winston-Salem. 

He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Mozingo Godfrey; two daughters, Catherine Ware and Mary Childers, both of Winston-Salem; and three grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be conducted Friday, November 16 at 2 p.m. at the Princeton Cemetery. 

The family is being served by Casey Funeral Home.

RODERIC R. RUSSELL

Roderick R. Russell, 54, died Saturday, November 10.

Born December 16, 1952 in Ohio, Mr. Russell was the son of the late Roderic and Betty Russell. He moved to North Carolina in 1990.

The family received friends Wednesday morning, November 14, at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with a graveside service following in Selma Memorial Gardens.

Surviving are his wife, Lyvonne C. Russell; his children, Mindi and Derrick, both of Akron, Ohio; two stepchildren, Cindy Joyner of Princeton and Jamie Canady of Garner; three sisters, Kitty Malone, Vickie Bartlette, and Dixie Platt, all of Ohio; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Children's Department of Princeton Church of God, 6085 U.S. 70 East, Princeton, NC 27569.
