Reynolds wins Pigskin prize

14 November 2007 — The upset bug bit the Pigskin Pickers hard last week, and as will happen, that thinned things out at the top of the heap.

Only one picker could get as many as five of the six right, and for his best of this litter of pickers, Russell Reynolds of Goldsboro won two of the last tickets to the Tulane at ECU football game for Nov. 24.

Runner-up honors go to: Tyler Baker, Ronnie A. Barnes, Louise Daughtry, Carl Gurley III, Valerie Howell, Marcia McCullen, Stephen Murphy, Renee Murray, Craig parting, Jason Rowe, Nathaniel L. Sanders Jr., Denny Tart and Lane Van Gorden.

Honorable mentions go to: John Crafter, Luby Hines, Lewis Craig Partin, Mike Peedin, Michael Strickland, Brad Van Gorden and David Williams.

We’re out of football tickets, but for this week’s winner, we’ve got some prize basketball tickets: NCSU at ECU on Sat., Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. It could be you going to the game, but only if you enter.

Cut out the entry in today’s News Leader, fill it out and mail it in or bring it to our office by 5 p.m. Friday, or enter online.

If you’ve enjoyed the contest, please thank our sponsoring advertisers.
