Donations needed

14 November 2007 — Gift donations are needed for the Third Annual Special Needs Holiday Gathering, a gathering for children and adults with disabilities and their families in Johnston County, on Saturday, December 2. Suggested items are toys, books, DVDs, CDs, hair ribbons, games, crafts, jewelry, cologne, ball caps, sports equipment, and other items for all ages. The party is sponsored by The Arc, Special Olympics, First in Families, and The Autism Society, all of Johnston County. Please call Jill Carpenter at 553-4031 to make your donation.

The Third Annual Special Needs Holiday Party will be held Saturday, December 2 at Beulah Hill Christian Church on Keen Road in Four Oaks, from 4-8 p.m. Dinner will be provided, along with music from Southland Harmony, crafts, bingo, and a visit from Santa. Children and adults with disabilities, and their families, from Johnston County, are invited to attend. This is a group effort of local organizations, including The Arc, Special Olympics, First in Families, and The Autism Society. Please contact a member of one of these organizations if you plan to attend.
