Rosewood takes loss at home to Wayne Country Day
09 January 2008 — Rosewood looked rusty last week as the Eagles suffered two losses.

The Eagles suffered a loss at Rocky Mount Prep last Tuesday, and then fell in a tough loss at home to Wayne Country Day, 61-42.
The Eagles had a tough time dealing with Wayne Country Day’s pressure defense, and some difficulties finding the hole didn’t help either.

Both teams struggled early before the Chargers opened a 28-16 halftime lead.
The Eagles finally got their scoring going in the second half, but the Chargers started connecting as well.

Stephen McIntyre led Rosewood with a 14 point night, while Holt Rains added ten in the loss.

The Eagles (4-5) host Parrott Academy tonight (Wednesday) and travel to Ayden-Grifton Friday as conference play begins.
