sheriff's report

09 January 2008 — Johnston County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating a burglary near Princeton over the weekend.

Crystal Horne of US Hwy 70 East, Princeton, reported a 2nd degree burglary Sunday evening. She stated that a laptop computer, DVD player, cell phone, and DVD were stolen from her home.

Larry Cox of Braswell Mobile Home Park reported a felony larceny at his units on Friday afternoon. He reported two black males on the property loading materials into a white Dodge van.

Claude Perkins of Christopher Ave., Princeton, reportedly was the victim of credit card fraud last month. He reported the incident to sheriff’s deputies on Friday.

David Earl Watkins of Herring Road, Princeton, reported his license plate stolen Saturday night.

William Rowdy Hill, 44, was arrested on charges of assault on a female on Friday. There were also outstanding warrants his ex-girlfriend took out on him on December 25 for assaulting her.
