Rosewood girls struggle for win

16 January 2008 — Rosewood girls coach Karen Williams is struggling to find some scoring out of her team.

Last Tuesday the Lady Eagles could only score seven points in the first 24 minutes of the game against Parrott Academy. They finally got things going when the visitors relaxed the defense, with 14 points in the final quarter. The game ended with a 47-21 Parrott win.

Misha Chester, Christina Bruton, Haile Meadows, and Paige Babb led the Rosewood girls with four points each.

In their conference opener at Ayden-Grifton the Lady Eagles struggled some more in a 60-28 loss.

With their third consecutive loss, Rosewood dropped to 4-8 on the year.
