SHEILA W. GURLEY

Sheila Weaver Gurley, 47, of Princeton, died Thursday, January 24 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. 

She was born October 20, 1960. 

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 27 at Whitley Church with the Reverend Farrell Hardison and Reverend Andy Stoval officiating.  The burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Cooper Van Gurley; two sons, Bradley Gurley of Durham and Daniel Gurley of the home; her parents, Samuel L. and Joyce Jones Weaver of Princeton; a brother, Samuel Weaver, Jr. of Raleigh; and two sisters, Jean Bragg of Goldsboro and Wanda Gardner of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening, January 26 at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.

RITA F. SCHOOT

Rita Faye Schoot, 50, of Princeton, died Sunday morning, January 20.

She was born October 23, 1957 and was the daughter of the late Harold Eugene Benson.

She is survived by three sons, Jamie Paul Schoot of Virginia, Donovan Richard Schoot of Four Oaks, and Christopher Frank Schoot of Richmond, Virginia; a daughter:  Elizabeth Nicole Schools of Richmond, Virginia; her mother, Linda Marie Lane Benson of Princeton; two sisters, Becky Aylene Williams of Selma and Vicki Penn of Goldsboro; and three grandchildren.

Casey Funeral Home of Princeton is serving the family.
