31 January 2008 — Princeton EMS and fire crews responded to this wreck at Holt's Pond and Martin Livestock Roads early Thursday afternoon.

Mt. Olive fall grads

The fall 2007 graduating class at Mount Olive College was challenged to have passion in life. The commencement address was delivered by Jeffrey Miles Minges, president and chief executive officer of the Minges Bottling Group, a Pepsi Cola distributor.

Princeton graduates included Kimberly Kathryn Daughtry, BS — Management and Organizational Development, and Vickie E Braswell, BS – CIS.

Inter-Faith Breakfast

The City of Goldsboro's Community Affairs Commission, in conjunction with Wayne County, will host its first annual Inter-Faith Breakfast on Friday, February 1 at 8 a.m. at the Herman Park Center, 901 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro.

Five ministers from different denominations will bring three-minute greetings.

Cost is $7 and reservations are required by January 25, by calling the Community Affairs Office at 580-4359.

Financial Aid Workshop at Princeton

A representative from the College Foundation of North Carolina will be in the Princeton cafeteria on Thursday, February 7 from 6:30-7:30 p.m., to discuss financial aid options with juniors, seniors, and their parents. Merit and need-based aid, grants, loans, and scholarship application processes will be covered, and attendees will receive an information packet. FAFSA Day will be Saturday, February 9 at WCC.
