Rosewood girls against Ayden-Grifton
6 February 2008 — The Rosewood girls’ offense had come alive in a win over Spring Creek two weeks ago, and continued strong in two losses, ran into the league’s second place team last Friday in Ayden-Grifton. The Lady Chargers sapped any charge the RHS offense had in a 51-29 win at the Eagles’ Nest.
The Lady Eagles played A-G tight for the first quarter, but used their defense to spark a 23-14 advantage at the first half break.
Haile Meadows and Paige Babb paced Rosewood with six points apiece.
Rosewood is on the road this week, at North Johnston last night (Tuesday) and at Spring Creek Friday. Next Tuesday they host North Duplin.
The Lady Eagles stand at 1-5 in league play going into Tuesday night, and 5-12 in all games.
