Pick the Hoops results
13 February 2008 — The favorites all pretty well performed as expected last week, so it was a fairly easy Pick the Hoops Contest.
Louise Daughtry of Princeton sailed through the games with only one miss, on the Rosewood boys topping Spring Creek to win four tickets to the S. Miss at ECU Saturday.
Linda Eonta Seraljim and Nathaniel L. Sanders Jr. tied for runner-up honors.
Valerie Howell and Michael Jordan received honorable mention.
This week we’ve got one of the hottest tickets around to give away – two tickets to the UNC at NC State game on Wednesday, Feb. 20. They could be yours, but only if you enter. Cut out the entry in today’s News Leader, fill it out and bring it to the office by 5 p.m. Friday, or mail it to us at PO Box 597, Princeton, NC 27569, or enter online by 5 p.m. Friday.
