13 February 2008 — Avery Peedin, 53, of Wiggs Rd., Selma and Samantha Frame, 19, of Sunshine Rd., Kenly, were involved in a wreck on RPR 1002 near 70 northeast of Princeton on January 28 at 8:05 p.m.
Damage to Mr. Peedin’s ’78 Ford was estamed at $500. Damage to Ms. Frame’s 2000 Ford, which is owned by Patricia Yelverton, was estimated at $3000. Mr. Peedin was charged with failure to yield.
John Davis, 53, of Minnie Dr., Princeton, was involved in an accident while driving a truck for Waste Management near Four Oaks on January 31 at 6:20 a.m. Mirrors were struck. No charges were filed. $100 damage to each vehicle was reported.
Johnathan Grundler, 20, of Brogden Rd., Smithfield, went off RPR 1007 about five and a half miles southeast of Smithfield, crossing the center line, and going into a yard, striking a cable box, across the yard and into a tree. Damage to the 2002 Honda was estimated at $8000. He was charged with driving left of center and DWI. The accident occurred at 6:30 a.m. on February 2.
Rossie Massengill, 52, of Rains Crossroads Rd., Princeton, was involved in an accident near Pine Level on RPR 2320 on February 1 at 10:49 a.m. He ran off the road, into a ditch, struck and culvert, and came down on the other side of the culvert. He did $500 damage to the yard and culvert of J.M. Holloman, also of Rains Crossroads Rd., Princeton. He was charged with exceeding a safe speed for conditions. There was $3000 damage to his 1999 Chevy.
Kimberly Petit, 25, of Princeton Rd., Princeton was involved in an accident with Christal Nichols, 36, of Pearl St., Princeton on January 31 at 2 p.m. on RPR 2530 about half a mile southwest of Princeton. There was $4000 damage to Ms. Petit’s 2004 Nissan, and $7500 damage to Ms. Nichols 2005 Dodge. Ms. Nichols was charged with failure to yield.
Alejandro Garcia, 36, of Old Rock Quarry Rd., Princeton, was involved in an accident on RPR 1002, 8 miles north of Princeton, with Samantha Frame of Kenly. He hit her car after it was stopped in a prior accident on January 28 at 7:36 p.m. Damage to the 2000 Ford he was driving, owned by Hugo Carrillo of Willow Springs, was $7500. Damage to Ms. Frame’s car was estimated at $5000.
