ANNIE K. FERRELL
Annie Elizabeth Keen Ferrell, 89, a resident of Woodard's Care, died Tuesday, February 18 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Annie was born in Wilson County on August 16, 1918 to the late Hubert Keen and Clyde Louisa Jackson Keen. She was married to the late James Thomas Ferrell. Annie was a member of the Goldsboro Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, February 20 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Willard Hardison and the Rev. Reynolds Smith officiating.
She is survived by her daughters, Annie Margie Hatcher of Pikeville, Janice Faye Smith of Dudley; her sons, James Ray Ferrell of Rosewood, Thomas Eugene Ferrell of Pikeville, Hubert Gerald Ferrell of Pikeville; her sisters, Dolly Jean Waddell of Bailey, Sally Mae Waddell of Macclesfield; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

JONATHAN CRAWFORD PEEDIN
Jonathan Crawford Peedin, 18, died Saturday, February 23 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Wayne County on September 20, 1989, he was the son of Steve M. Peedin and Donna C. Peedin, both of Goldsboro. A 2007 honor graduate and all conference athlete at Rosewood High School, he was a student at Wayne Community College.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Rosewood First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Bostian and the Rev. Vernon Braswell officiating. Burial was private.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his sister, Danielle Elizabeth Peedin of Goldsboro; and his paternal grandmother, Cornelia Moore Peedin of Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Albert F. Peedin; and his maternal grandparents, Luke G. and Marjorie W. Crawford.
Flowers are welcome and memorial contributions may be directed to the Rosewood Volunteer Fire Dept., 884 Rosewood Road, Goldsboro, or the Oakland Volunteer Fire Dept., 674 Oakland Church Road, Princeton, N.C. 27569.

MAXINE W. SASSER
Maxine Whaley Sasser, 64, died Thursday, February 21 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Maxine was born in Wayne County on October 23, 1943 to Christine Davis Whaley of Pikeville and the late Owen Franklin Whaley. Maxine was in the first graduating class from Charles B. Aycock in 1962. She was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church for 40 years.
Funeral services were Sunday, February 24 at Rosewood First Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Bostian and the Rev. Vernon Braswell officiating. Interment was Monday morning at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to her mother, Maxine is survived by her faithful husband of 43 years, Jasper Glenn Sasser; her son, Timothy Owen Sasser and wife, Shari, of Raleigh; her daughter, Kelly Sasser Jones and husband, Claude "Pete" Jones IV, of Princeton; grandchildren, Melanie Lynn Sasser, Timothy Glenn Sasser, Michaela Glen Smith, Cody Lee Mitchell, Summer Gray Jones and Davis Patrick Jones; her brother, Michael Owen Whaley and wife, Dorothy, of Goldsboro.

SANDRA L. WILLIAMS
Sandra L. "Sandy" Williams, 50, of Goldsboro, died Friday, February 22.
She was predeceased by her father, Thelton Ludlum.
The funeral was held Sunday evening in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating. Burial was Monday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, Ricky Dean Williams; one son, Sam Williams and wife, Jeannine, of Virginia; her mother, Geraldine G. Moore of Goldsboro; one brother, Gregory Ludlum of Surf City; five sisters, Karen Ludlum of Dudley, Susan Scott of Goldsboro, Donna Knotts of Raleigh, Glenda Ludlum of Pink Hill, and Beth Mays of Charlotte; and her father-in-law, Jack Williams of Mount Olive.
Memorials may be made to Whitley Pentecostal Church, 188 Whitley Church Road, Princeton, N.C., 27569.
BEATRICE B. WILLIAMSON
Beatrice Brogden Williamson, 79, of Mount Olive, died Friday morning, February 22 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 25, 1928. A retired cook, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Carl Williamson, a son, William Henry Williamson, a brother, George Brogden, two sisters, Hazel Church and Christine Sutton, and her parents, Henry and Odell Lewis Brogden.
Services were held Sunday afternoon, February 24, from Indian Springs Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a member. Burial followed in Grant's Chapel Church Cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Jack Williamson of the home; two daughters, Alma W. Bass and husband, Charlie, of Princeton, and Margie W. Taylor and husband, James, of Goldsboro; a sister, Dorothy Jean Padgett and husband, Cecil, of Jacksonville; a granddaughter, Crystal Thompson of Grantham; and two great-grandchildren.
The family would appreciate any donations be made to Tyndall Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
