highway patrol report

12 March 2008 — According to Highway Patrol reports, Wendy Dale, 28, Progressive Church Rd., Princeton, was involved in a wreck on March 5 on RPR 2309 at US 70 3.6 miles southeast of Selma. Damage to her 2002 Ford was estimated at $2000. James Rutland of China Grove was charged with failure to yield.

James Capps, 39, Howell Rd., Princeton and Peggy Atkinson, 62, of W. 2nd St., Princeton, were involved in a wreck on US 70 on March 2, 3.2 miles east of Pine Level. Damage to Mr. Capps’ 1995 Dodge was estimated at $1,000, while damage to Ms. Atkinson’s 2006 Chevy was estimated at $3,000. Mr. Capps was charged with failure to yield right-of-way.

Ryan Williams, 19, Lee St., Princeton, was involved in a single car accident on March 3 at 9:31 a.m. on RPR 1927 near RPR 2326. Damage to the 1998 Chevy owned by Antoine Wallace of Selma was estimated at $2500. He ran off the road to the right and struck a ditch. He was charged with exceeding a safe speed.

Kathleen Radford, 66, of Old Kenly Rd, Pikeville, was involved in a deer accident on Rains Mill Rd. near Princeton on March 5 at 6:30 p.m. Damage to her 2006 Buick was estimated at $3,000.

Jaime Aburto, 31, Bizzell Grove Church Rd., Princeton, struck a deer on Feb. 29 at 8:50 a.m. on Buffalo Rd. north of Selma. Damage to his 1999 Pontiac was estimated at $1500.

Danny Grady, 13, Old Rock Quarry Rd., Princeton, was involved in an accident on Old Rock Quarry Rd. 3.4 miles north of Princeton on Feb. 27 at 5:21 p.m. He was riding his bicycle when he was struck by Donald Belcher of Selma. Mr. Belcher was charged with failure to reduce speed.
