Parker, Starling to wed in May

09 April 2008 — Johnny Starling of Princeton and Phyllis Starling of Selma announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Shannon Starling of Princeton, to Terry Allen Parker, Jr. of Four Oaks. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of James and Mary Ann House of Micro and the late Harold Massey of Princeton, and Edna Starling and the late Donald Starling Sr. of Princeton. She is a 1998 graduate of Rosewood High School and a 2005 graduate of East Carolina University. She is employed by Advantage Hospice and Home Care as a medical social worker. Her fiancé is the son of Terry Allen Parker, Sr. and Kathryn Parker of Four Oaks, and the grandson of Glenn Lassiter, Jr. and Margaret Lassiter of Four Oaks, and the late Hilda Parker of Dunn and the late Melvin Parker of Dunn. He is a 1998 graduate of South Johnston High School and a co-owner of J&A Automotive Group, Inc. The wedding is set for May 31, 2008 at Highgrove Estate in Fuquay-Varina at 6 p.m. Invitations will be mailed.
