DOLORES G. HOLT
Dolores Godwin Holt, 77, of Princeton, died Friday, April 18 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Born April 22, 1930 in Selma, she was a daughter of the late Walter Berry and Lillian Elizabeth Hales Godwin and was the widow of N. Graham Holt, who died November 19, 1995. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Berry Godwin, Jr. and two sisters, Mary Jeanne Godwin Pate and Walda Godwin Johnson. Dolores was very active in the Princeton United Methodist Church and was the Librarian of the Princeton Public Library. 
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21 in the Princeton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Coppock, the Rev. Richard “Dick” Lewis and her nephew, the Dr. Gray Southern officiating. Burial followed in the Princeton Cemetery.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie Holt Barber and Dr. Joseph G. Barber, two sons and daughters-in-law, David Graham Holt and Tammy W. Holt and Clifton Godwin Holt and Kimberly T. Holt all of Princeton and seven grandchildren, Caleb Graham Barber, Noah David Holt, Holden Jack Holt, Hart Jacob Holt, Kenna Lillian Holt, Nicholas Ray Melvin and Leslie Nicole Melvin.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Children’s Ministry of the Princeton United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 116, Princeton, NC 27569.

CHRISTINE B. HOBBS
Christine Fail Brantham Hobbs, 86, of Wilmington, died Tuesday, April 15.
She was born in Johnston County on April 4, 1922 to the late Willie R. and Bessie Woodard Fail. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.K. Hobbs Sr.; son, Don Brantham; grandson, Will Hobbs III; and three sisters and a brother. She graduated from Rosewood High School and lived in Goldsboro until 1982.
She is survived by her daughter, Maxine Brantham Hobbs and husband, Bill; her son, Tom Brantham and wife, Mary Rose; her daughter-in-law, Pam Brantham; a stepdaughter, Janet Dorman and husband, Mike Norris; a stepson, Steve Hobbs and wife, Kayren; grandchildren, Kinzy Tippett and husband, Jeff, Joel Brantham, Claire Johnson, Dabney Brantham, Lewis Hobbs, Elise Hobbs, Emily Hobbs; great-granddaughter, Grace Tippett; a brother-in-law, John Henry Penuel; a sister-in-law, Kathleen Fail; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday, April 17 at Oleander Memorials Gardens followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. E. C. Mattocks officiating.

JAMES M. TOLER
James Melvin Toler, 66, of Goldsboro, died Sunday, April 20 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mr. Toler was born in Wayne County on July 12, 1941 to the late Ramson and Leona McFatter Toler. He was the owner operator driver for PFT Trucking and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Toler attended Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Monday. April 21 at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro with visitation afterward. Pastor Steve Singleton and the Rev. Henry Jinnette officiated. Graveside services were held on Tuesday, April 22 at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Toler; two daughters, Betty Jean Nixon and her husband, Keith, of Kenly, Angela Canady and her husband, Shane, of Goldsboro; three brothers, George Ramson Toler of Belfast, Billy Ray Toler and his wife, Joyce, of Princeton, Junior Toler and his wife, Shirley, of Goldsboro; three sisters, Norma Williford, Barbara Murphy and her husband, Craig, Rosa Lee Jinnette and her husband, Jimmy, all of Goldsboro; and six grandchildren, Allison and Austin Nixon, Amber La Vasser, Shana, Sabrina and Nathan Canady.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Toler was preceded in death by two sisters, Pearl McFatter and Nancy Cruse.

THOMAS J. UNDERWOOD JR.
Thomas Joseph Underwood Jr., 61, of Goldsboro, died Tuesday, April 15 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Underwood was born in Johnston County on April 2, 1947, to the late Thomas Joseph Underwood Sr. and Mary Price Underwood.
Celebration of life service was held Friday, April 18 at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Internment followed at Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Underwood; one son, Thomas Underwood III and his wife, Sarah, of Goldsboro; one daughter, Wendy Underwood Kelly and her husband, Gary, of Rosewood; two step-daughters, Cheryl Koger and her husband, Kevin, of Goldsboro, Kaitlyn Williams of Washington, N.C.; two brothers, Ted Underwood and his wife, Judy, of Selma, Glen Ferguson and his wife, Rita, of Mar Mac; his stepmother, Dottie Underwood of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren, Stormy Kelly, Tyler Underwood, Nash Koger, Sawyer Underwood, and Savannah Kelly.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Underwood was preceded in death by his stepson, Grant Williams.

ELMON HOWELL
Elmon Waylon Howell, 92, of Princeton, died Friday, April 18.
Born in Johnston County on Sept. 7, 1915, he was the son of the late John Richard and Minnie Massengill Howell. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Lillie Pearl Daughtry Howell. Mr. Howell was a long-time active member of Hephzibah Baptist Church.
The funeral was held Monday, April 21 at 11 a.m. in Hephzibah Baptist Church, with entombment following in the church cemetery. The Revs. Matt Munday, Craig Langdon, and Steve Stephenson officiated.
Surviving are his daughter, Geraldine Reardon and her husband, Sherwood, of Princeton; sisters, Allene Olivadoti of Massachusetts, Elizabeth Lewis of Goldsboro, Louise Raines of Mebane, Lucille Hinnant of Princeton and Mary Herring of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jamie Massey, Michael Massey and Michelle Langdon, all of Princeton; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Hephzibah Baptist Church Building Fund, 4633 U.S. 70 East, Princeton, N.C. 27569.

SANDRA B. WIGGINS
Sandra Britt Wiggins, 46, of Princeton, died Monday, April 14 at home.
Born in Hampton, Va., she was a daughter of the late James and Hilda Sanders Britt.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 17 at 2 p,m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The Rev. George Arant officiated. Burial followed in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens near Smithfield.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Wiggins; two sons, Matthew Wiggins of Princeton and Chris Wiggins of Sullivan, Ind.; a brother, James L. Britt of Princeton; and four sisters, Sherri Ennis of Smithfield, Karen Barwick of Four Oaks, Betty Goodling of Selma, and Christina Britt of Florida.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Matthew Wiggins Education Fund, First Citizens Bank, Smithfield.
