Eagles best hosting Gators

30 April 2008 — The Rosewood High School Eagles claimed a 3-2 victory over the hosting Gators of Spring Creek High School  on Friday, April 25 in 1A Carolina Conference varsity baseball.

The Eagles posted two runs in the second inning. Steven Bostic plated one of the two runs.
Jonathon Franks had a bases-loaded groundout to win the game.

Matt Neal allowed six hit and retired three batters in six innings on the mound.

The Eagles suffered a 4-2 road loss to 1A Carolina Conference foe, the Panthers of North Johnston High School, on Tuesday, April 22 in varsity baseball action.

The Eagles scratched out one run each in the third and fourth. North Johnston tallied two runs in the fourth, one in the fifth and two in the sixth.

Holt Rains and Eric Martel went one for three at bat. Cody Richards contributed one double, plated one runner and went one for three at bat. Zach Grantham went one for three and drove in one runner.

Taylor Allen gave up four runs and hits each and two walks in six innings on the mound. He retired five batters.
