Lady Eagles downed by ND Rebels
7 May 2008 — The hosting Lady Eagles of Rosewood High School were downed 4-1 to the Lady Rebels of North Duplin Jr./Sr. High School on Tuesday, April 29 in 1A Carolina Conference varsity softball.
The Rebels posted one run each in the first, third, fourth and fifth innings. Rosewood scored its lone run in the third.
Halie Meadows had a perfect night at the plate, going two for two, while Church went one for three.
Meadows gave up 10 hits, four runs and three walks in seven innings on the mound. She retired 12 batters.
