27 August 2008 — According to Johnston County Sheriff's Department reports, William Rowdy Jr., 45, of 2037 Old Rock Quarry Rd. in Princeton was arrested for assault by pointing a gun, communicating threats and assault on a female on Friday August 22 at 1:20 a.m. No bond was set.
Jeffrey Lynn Hartenstine, 45, of 495 Bizzell-Braswell Rd in Princeton reported a larceny of a vehicle key on Thursday, August 21 at 10 a.m. His vehicle registration was recovered.
Phylis Starling, 48, of 201 Skyland Dr. in East Smithfield reported that Kathy Massey Phillips, 55, of 117 Laura Avenue in Princeton had overdosed on Wednesday, August 20 at 5:48 p.m. at Ms. Phillips’ home.
Evan Thomas Lee, 29, of 3806 US 70 A Highway in Princeton was arrested for assault on a female on Tuesday, August 19 at 7:01 p.m. No bond was set.
Sharon Ann Wadsworth, 53, of 8307 Brogden Rd. in Smithfield reported a larceny of $43.97 worth of fuel from Myers Community Mart, located at 7323 Brogden Rd. in Smithfield, on Tuesday, August 19 at 3:40 p.m.
Elbert Fitzgerald, 68, of 4686 US 70 Highway A reported a breaking or entering of a motor vehicle, larceny after breaking or entering and larceny of a firearm on Monday, August 18 at midnight.
Approximately $700 worth of money and a $200 firearm was stolen.
Melissa Ann Cochran, 29, of 115 Holts Pond Rd. in Princeton was arrested for assaulting a government official, resisting a public officer and second-degree trespassing on Monday, August 18 at 7:04 p.m. A $10,000 bond was set for her resisting a public officer charge.
Chalice Wright James II, 28 of 774 Grabtown Road, Brogden, was arrested Saturday and charged with assault on a female.
