PHS JV squad whipped
1 October 2008 — It came as somewhat of a surprise to Head Coach Russell Williamson, after all the Princeton JV football team had been playing well in winning its first two games.
But on Monday, in a game makeup from last Thursday, the Bulldogs (2-1) were served a cold dose of reality in losing at Franklinton, 34-0.
“We got whipped,” Coach Williamson said. “It looked like they just weren’t ready to play. We probably made more mistakes tonight than we have all year long. I don’t know if it’s because we played on Monday night or what, but we didn’t block very well.”
Princeton will try to get back onto its winning ways when it hosts Holly Ridge Dixon Thursday night.
